I love Heidi pictures, she has such a cheerful face. :)

Oh Heidi. You're so funny. Giving the kitty kisses. You are one gorgeous little girl. I've decided that you are the neighborhood goodwill ambassador. Such a friendly girl!!
Who doesn't adore those amazing belly up shots? Soooooo cute!! I'm always happy to hear about the food there. Barry and Mom sure know delicious food. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...snoozgirl3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rinkygirl2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...snoozgirl4.JPGHeidi flipped over down here late Sunday afternoon,having a drink of water last night after having here first set of treats and later on in the evening,having a snoozing by Mom,did more of that last night,she did come and laid down beside me later.No walk yesterday or today,Monday morning had a thunderstorm and the rest of the day too humid,same reason today.She had a great time out on the patio Monday afternoon in the shade for about and hour,was out later in the evening 2 or three times,after the one time,was down here blitzing.Monday morning had a great time looking out the front window,not so much today,was resting,then she had a play with the red bone.She was bad Monday morning this morning,she pooped down here ,she will only do the bathroom routine when she goes on a walk,doesn't do it when she goes out in the morning.We were to get a thunderstorm this afternoon,by the looks of radar,it stayed south of Lake Ontario in New York and Pennsylvania.Had to get a new height adjuster for one of the wheels of the lawn mower,it broke on Saturday,cost $10,I tried taking it apart and putting it together,was was beyond me,should never have tried it so I had someone who does lawn mowers do for me,Buddy the German Shepherd's owner did it.
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rinkygirl3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...irlrestin1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...terheidi92.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...terheidi93.JPGHeidi having a drink Tuesday night,resting her head on mom's knee the same night,had a snooze there then came to me on the couch,on her walk Wednesday morning,saw the crossing guard and got belly rubs,she wondered where Heidi had been ,told her it was too humid for her to be out,had her snacks later,got more when we had Banana bread,went out a couple of times after the second time,and a blitz down here and cleared the toy bed in a big jump,had a snooze at Mom's feet and was snoring then came to me later,she was ready for bed around 10.She had a play this morning,had a look outside,last picture is of her walk today,she was shaking herself in this one,she saw the crossing guard again and got belly rubs.She stayed down here when I was out,not a good day for cutting grass,wheel came off the lawn mower,I had to borrow one form the man had tried to fix mine,it quit twice,had dirt in the carburetor, then was going to use another one ,me was showing me how to use it and he pulled the cord and it came right out,didn't tie a knot in it.so mom and I took ours to get it looked at,it will be at least a week.Tonight had to do the neighbor's across the street,he had our old one,only problem with it,had to tape the blade control lever in the on position,it was half broke off but at least it worked.Getting much need rain tomorrow,maybe an inch,Heidi had her snacks tonight,stayed with mom while I was dong the grass to night,having a snooze beside the chair.
So Sorry to hear about all the bad luck Barry. You've had your share and more of machine troubles. Heidi looks better everytime I see her. Love love love the upside down pictures!!! I really hope you get all the lawn mower problems fixed and back in business 100%. It must be frustrating.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...toyplayin1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...terheidi94.JPGHeidi playing with her bone Friday morning and on her walk today.It was not a good day to be outside her Friday,high wind and rain,we had some little branches and leaves come down,where I do grass on Jane Street for Phyllis McRobbie,a big branch was down,also tipped over was an outdoor table with a cover over it,had to pick it up,I tried putting Heidi's leash under a chair while I did that,she pulled the chair,wanted to put her back,her leash and harness came off and she run across the street,I got her,was not happy with her.Twice on the walk she met Tessa,a 4 year old Bichon and Sam a 9 year old Lhasa Apso/Poodle,had a great time greeting them both times.We went to the cemetery to check if a plant we had put on a stand was fine,it was ,as we were going in we saw a tree had uprooted in the storm and landed on fence and into the cemetery,no gravestones were damaged.I did the flowerbeds and cleaned up the leaves and branches,Heidi had snacks,her supper later,we had Sausage Rolls for supper,she has had 3 snacks of bones,I spelled out treat and she knew what I said,has been out twice,had a run and is now resting, will go to the couch soon.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...scootgirl1.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning along Southway Drive.We saw a German Shepherd coming out of a back yard ,came down the sidewalk a little then stopped.Mom and a friend went to a outdoor service today so I stayed here and took Heidi for a walk.I took her before 8 in the morning before it got too warm,was up to 82,heat index in the mid 90's thunderstorms tomorrow night ,high of 30,heat index again in the mid 90's,cooler here Tuesday and 77.Heidi had her look out the window this morning,been down here with me most of the day,has been up a few times,had her morning snack,had supper at quarter to 2,we had Steak,she stays down here while I eat upstairs and no noise from her.Marlene and Larry had Buster Saturday Shannon , her kids and some other went to The Great Wolf Lodge Water Park in Niagara Falls for the day.Larry knows it is about time to put Taffy down,but can't yet bring himself to do it.My Uncle is still in Sunny Brook Hospital,still waiting to find a room at the rehab he is to go to.
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...scootgirl2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...scootgirl3.JPGHeidi on her walk this morning before it go too warm today,right now it is 84F,feeling more like in the mid 90's showers and thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow morning as well.Just got started thew walk and we met a neighbor,Clayton Morgan and he came out to see Heidi and she got a belly rub,I will be doing his lawn for about a month,he has some type of heart condition and near the end of thew walk met another neighbor down the street,Bonnie Barnoski,she was out watering a new garden she had put in which includes Hosta plants.I just walked Heidi around the block,too warm for a long walk today,she didn't stay out long after she had her supper at 20 after 1.I found out today ,I have won a Samsung Smart Camera with Wi-Fi capability,the contest was done through Facebook,I had taken a picture of Heidi on May 31st shaking herself on a walk,there were 4 cameras given out this was the 3rd in a 4 week contest,I have filled out a form and have to send it in by June 2o0th,from there it will 30 days before I get it,gave Heidi a big kiss for helping me win this.
Congratulations on winning the smart camera, Barry! And Heidi, I'm glad you and your master got a walk in before it got too hot. We were supposed to get some rain yesterday but it crossed further downstate. That's good for the central Illinois farmers, but we need some rain around here, too. None in the forecast all week but the prediction is for lower humidity- works for me. I like the picture from June 7 where you're looking at the camera very seriously! ((HUGS)))
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...couchgirl1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...scootgirl4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...scootgirl5.JPGHeidi on the couch down here Tuesday morning and walking up Liberty South then Orchardview today,she didn't meet any friends today,I saw the crossing guard,she didn't,crossing guard was still in her car waiting to start at 8 a.m.Tuesday morning was rainy,wasn't going to walk her but Heidi will not go out and do her business unless it is a walk so I took her out,it was wet but wasn't raining,she got her feet and tummy wet,she do what she had to do.there was a severe thunderstorm.Last night,she wouldn't settle down until I stopped eating barbecue chips then she was fine,goes from side of me to the other on the couch before settling down.She had her look outside Tuesday,did see a couple of girls go by,today saw a neighbor up the street go by.I went and did Marlene's flowerbed and cut grass ,she told me there is a nest in the tree,Blackbirds,apparently they have been dive bombing Taffy when she has been out,there were there today,yakking up a storm, didn't touch me.I did out flowerbed and grass when I got back, I have at least two tomorrow,have 5 in total to hopefully get done by Friday,getting my haircut on Saturday.Sent the fax about the camera Tuesday,heard from them today to confirm the address,will most likely get it in 30 days or so.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...sittinout3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...scootgirl9.JPGHeidi sitting out on the back step late Friday afternoon,she heard a neighbor behind us cutting grass while she was down here and had to go out and she what was happening.Heidi had two snacks last night,had two drinks of water,asked for the second drink,wandered around again,finally settled down beside,also had a blitz earlier.She snored beside while we were watching Nik Wallenda cross Niagara Falls,gets hard for me to watch because it was so far up,I don't like heights,glad he made it across,first one to do that.Heidi had her look out the window this morning,she followed me to the bedroom when Mom and I were changing bedsheets then it was tine for the walk.She first met a Cocker Spaniel/Spaniel mix,she kissed it,dog had no problem with it,later on she saw people sitting outside a house on Hobbs Drive,they have a blind 14 year old Cocker Spaniel that was in the house Heidi gave the lady kisses.She had a drink once home,then came down here after I was cleaned up.I gave her bone snacks, went and got my haircut this afternoon,had her supper after that,we had Fish and Chips.My Uncle is home form the hospital,his son and wife brought him home,Mom has gone over to see him,the son and his wife are planting some flowers for them.

I let Heidi up for a few minutes before church,she didn't do anything bad down here while we were gone,when we got back,we went to the cemetery and Mom left some flowers in front of Dad's stone for Father's Day,missed him yesterday.Almost home from the walk,Heidi saw Mom's friend Doreen and her daughter Cathy who was visiting form Kanata,Ontario near Ottawa,Heidi got some belly rubs..Heidi had her dinner around ,we had ours near 4,we had Steak and small potatoes wiht Onions.Heidi had a couple of snacks last night,took her time settling down last night,finally did.this morning,had her look out the window,had a play with the red bone,we had a thunderstorm overnight,still overcast,too wet for a walk,form tomorrow til Thursday,it is to be extremely hot and humid,feeling like 104-111F so most likely no walks and certainly won't be out in that heat doing much.Also yesterday,Mom saw a Newfoundland being walked so I picked up Heidi and when she saw that she started growling,she sounded like a motorboat starting up,never got a bark out.Heidi now having a snooze behind ,snoring.Mom just took my uncle out to get some groceries,he is doing fine,it will be a while before he is 100%.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl12.JPGHeidi on her walk late Monday afternoon,she was bad yesterday,did two bad things in the house and got a timeout for one of them.On the walk,did not see any pals,heard two barking from inside different houses,one was a Yorkie.She had a snack and water,had more snacks and more water I had Corn Chips.She took her time settling down again,thought the walk would've taken care of that.She sat in my chair and looked out today,spent most of the day down here snoozing,had a snack around 11,had supper at 20 to 2,we had Pizza,before that ,she was with me in the chair looking outside.We had a thunderstorm go by at 5:30 tonight,she was under my chair listening,would get out and look towards the bar room and listen,sat next to mom and also up with Mom in her chair,mom didn't go to the music concert tonight in Newcastle,to wet and it was humid today and again tomorrow,95 tomorrow feeling like 108,same kind of thing on Thursday before cooling off Friday.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl17.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl18.JPGHeidi on her walk Monday and today,yesterday we were going down Jane street and Abigail her Shih Tzu friend was barking at her fro inside the front screen door,Heidi heard,not sure if she sawe her,a little further down we met the crossing guard and she got a belly rub,then on Southway Drive met a Collie,Heidi kissed,Collie wagged its tail,didn't last long.Most of the day was spent down here,I had hedge trimming to do at Phyllis Mcrobbie's,Mom gave her 11 a.m. snack of bones,had supper around 2,had her evening snack around 6,had more later when we had a snack.She was pretty good last night,didn't do a whole lot of wandering.This morning,sat up with me in the chair after she had a roll on the carpet,starts bugging me for a walk,we met the crossing guard,got a belly rub, 2 more days for the crossing guard and then she is off until September.Before this,we met Tessa,the Bichon and Sam the Poodle,didn't to be bothered with Heidi today.Heidi was down here after we came home,I ended doing the neighbor's lawn across the street,also cleaned a few leaves form my Uncle's lawn from wind we have got the last couple of days..She had her 11 a.m. snack,we went out around 12:30,I bought a new portable radio,I dropped my other one and it stopped working.She paced around my chair here around two,stopped and looked at me and i asked if she was hungry,she at me then I got her supper.We had ours after this,we had Meatloaf and Fried potatoes.,had a play with the red bone now resting,Mom going to a concert in the park in Newcastle,Ontario tonight for 7p.m.
Hi, Heidi! I really like these pictures of you enjoying your walk on a sunny day! It is scorching hot here today- 90F, so I hope the heat doesn't make its way to you. Hoping for some rain maybe tomorrow night or Friday. Maybe I should get my car washed; it always seems to rain right after I do!
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl19.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl20.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...piffygirl1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...headshaky1.JPGHeidi on her walk Wednesday morning,she missed seeing the crossing guard,she was parking her car,Heidi wanted to get going at 7:30,Heidi looking spiffy down here last,after being at the groomers,Michelle the groomer said all she wanted to do was lick you even when she was shaving hair off her,she whined the whole way there,on the way back she was quieter,Mom stopped to get some diced Onions,Heidi was with me,she saw workers there going in inside and her tail kept going,was whining for Mom to come back.She did her wandering last night then settled down.Heidi on her walks today,she was shaking her head,she met a male Bichon who was happy to see her,Heidi not so much,wasn't all that excited,she laid down on the street,further up the street saw a Boston Terrier,stayed away form that one.I did Marlene's lawn then a neighbor around the corner.We have had people move in around the corner from us on Southway Drive,they have two Bichons and a Black Poodle,I have seen them out walking,Heidi hasn't seen them,I have seen the Bichons sleeping on a mattress in the living room,they are renovating a bedroom,reminds me of Fritz when he slept in the front window.Marlene took Brandyn and Samantha to the cottage yesterday,Larry came today after work.My Uncle is back in Hospital again,he went for tests earlier in the week,had swollen legs he didn't tell anyone about,now has to have rehab on that,he will be there 3 weeks.My Aunt is to blame for this,she doesn't do much around the,he does it all,she will have to smarten up and help out around the house or they will both end up in a nursing home.Warm here again the last two days,around 88F,felt much hotter,got grass done before it was too bad,no rain in sight.
Awww, Heidi! You were so good for the groomer -- yay! But you missed mom while she was doing her shopping. She came back to you, though! I'm glad you got in a walk before it got too hot. We are getting some badly needed rain tonight. You sure are cute, as always!!
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlysnooze1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl21.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl22.JPGHeidi having a snooze down here last night,eventually she settled down later on beside me on the couch and was snoring and today on her walk, no dogs today,we did see a Gray cat.We got Heidi a new collar yesterday, a red one,she had chewed the last one,one we got yesterday couldn't figure out how to open and returned it,went somewhere else for the one we got.Heidi had her look outside this morning,I said something to her,she looked at me and got down,I did not mention a walk.She was bad down here,she pooped,had her bone snack around 11,was looking at me not long ago,told her too early for supper,now up with Mom ,Mom watching the Blue Jays playing the Angels,now leading 3-0.Warm again today,in the 80's,feeling warmer than that,also a smog advisory in effect.Having Hamburgers for supper,Friday went to Dairy Queen ,had Bacon Cheeseburgers,also had a Smarties Bizzard while Mom had a Crispy Crunch Blizzard.
Hi Barry, Mom and Heidi!! Great pictures and stories, Barry. Heidi, you are such a versatile entertainer. Always busy. Never missing a beat. I can't believe you chewed up your collar. Silly girl. You can't go for walks without one.
Barry, I'm so sorry to hear about your Uncle. Poor guy just can't win. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
Be a good girl, Heidi. Keep Barry and Mom safe. Your job is guarding the house. I'm thrilled you aren't scared of thunderstorms.:)
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...rlysnooze2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cootgirl23.JPGHeidi having a snooze by the chair late Sunday afternoon and on her walk today.We had Steak and fried potatoes on Canada Day,Heidi does not like the barbecue as soon as she sees it,she starts barking at it and I have to bring her in the house.I thought I had a problem with the camera yesterday,the lense didn't come out when I was trying to take a picture of Heidi on our walk Sunday,if i had the right bill with me they could know I have a warranty, they tried that with just a phone number ,couldn't find it,I figured out the problem,the battery was dead,I had to wait until the light had shut off to charge it,fine now.Heidi saw no dogs on her walks yesterday and today,heard fireworks last night,didn't bother her her.Heidi had her look out the window then on a walk, mom and cleaned a flowerbed after that,Heidi has spent most of the day down here being cool.She had her morning snack,,has had two snacks tonight,had two refills of water,asked for it,sitting now chewing on her bone.Still warm and humid here for most of the week.Elyse,I know there were storms down in the U.S. power is out in the Midwest including parts of Illinois,so if I don't hear from you for awhile,I will know why.
Hi, Heidi and Barry! It's nice to be inside and cool on a hot day, and to have a drink of cool water whenever you need one! Cassie is under the love seat (one of her favorite spots) as I am typing this. I'm glad the fireworks didn't bother you! Ours are tonight but I think they've been called off because everything is so dry. Heidi, I love your full tail! You are so cute, as always!
The storm from Sunday just clipped my neighborhood. It rained hard briefly, but we didn't lose our power. I have friends from church who did, though. The storm was stronger north and west of here.
