$3.98 here in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Highest I've seen here is $4.09. UGH!!! It's just too EFFIN high!!!
In my area currently it is $1.25 a liter but we get a 3 cent discount at Safeway so only pay $1.22. Which works out to $4.57 a gallon. It costs about $125 to fill our suburban but luckily it is pretty good on gas and can go a fair distance on that compared to some suburbans.

Southeastern Michigan - $3.99 this morning.
We are in the Tacoma, Wa. area and gas here is $3.81 and up depending on where you by it. We all need a break from the high prices!!! A big rip off...
Went from $3.83 yesterday to $3.99 today!
Fortunately, I filled up on Saturday, and I paid $3.75. I am so lucky that I get good gas mileage, and I am able to plan shopping around drives to and from work. So a tank of gas for me can last for up to 3 weeks! I know I am lucky.... I don't know how many can afford to work anymore!
I have considered taking the bus. And I have also condsidered using my tax stimulus check to buy a bike to get back and forth. Unfortunately, I often have to drive to a meeting during the day for work, so many days it won't work for me to ride the bus or a bike.
It maddens me how the price can jump by 20 cents or more overnight!
Went from $3.64 to $3.79 today... man what a "coincidence" right before a holiday...
FORTUNATELY a friend at school's friend works at QT and texted her telling her to fill up, so I called hubby and had him fill up the car... good thing cause not even two hours later the prices went up. I wasn't even able to fill up the truck, oh well at least we got one vehicle good to go!
Holy Cow!!
Just now, on the NBC Nightly News, it was predicted that gas would be $5 - 6 per gallon, by the end of the summer!!
went up to $ 1.33 today....very high. Costs us about $250.00 a week to use the van. We could do with a little bit of saving but we go where we have to when we have to. We even use the van to get to some nice trails to run the dogs and we still enjoy riding for the enjoyment of it.
We paid $3.80 yesterday.
$4.19 this afternoon in Northern Michigan.
A steady $3.99/$3.98 around me.
$3.77 to $3.89 per gallon around our area. Depends on the station. ( As of my 5/19/08 post)
Now it's up to $4.04 a gallon today 5/22/08. :(
$4.09 today...up from $3.93 yesterday
Seems to be the average for around here too.
I'm really glad I can put a couple of gallons in my car and go for a week or two lol.
And back in the 1990s when gas was much cheaper.. I wish.
May 22:
$4.50 gallon in my town here - I saw $1.29 a litre in the city, which is about $4.88 a gallon.
Here in Cochrane, I get 5 cents per litre against my grocery bill. I am glad that this station has kept it at $1.19 per litre (4.50).
At least I have a Toyota, and my drive to work is mostly highway speeds - this last tank of gas I got 574 km to 40 litres. That's 356.67 miles and 10.667 gallons.
33.45 MPG...yuck...that car can do better! I had a half day of city rush hour traffic this afternoon, though...
Depending on the station, the "regular" is anywhere from $3.83 to $3.99 per gallon (within a mile of each other), I haven't seen any station brave enough to put $4 for Regular up.
It was $3.85 at the station we passed here today! :(
Williamston, MI is at $4.19 today.
Yay!!

We crossed the $4 milestone a couple of weeks ago, but Westchester is $$$! I have to fill up twice a week because of my commute. I think that I'm going to buy a compact, and the rescue group will have to do without my Matrix to schlep stuff to events (unless they want to start paying me for gas!)
It was up to $4.19 here in town yesterday evening. :(
$25.00 for 6 gallons of gas today. Boy is THAT depressing!!
Once upon a time it cost me less than $20 to fill my car
At current prices a fill up on my tank costs....
$34
I know I have no room to complain as I have a car that gets about 45 mpg lol (50 if its running really good, 55 if I have a tailwind ) and a fillup DOES last me over a month if I don't go out of town but still YARGH!
I have HUGE road trips I have to take this summer. I was going to rent a car for them but forget that! I'll just put the work into mine lol.
Poor little car already has made a 600 mile trip and a 400 mile trip since I moved here.
I drive too much :p
$3.97 was the last I saw.
*sigh* =[
My cousin was down towards Milwaukee and she said when she filled up before she drove home it was $4.15.
Went up to 2.01 / litre today. We filled up last night before the prices jumped. For some reason there's always a low before a high and then it levels. I keep hoping someone will find a solution. Wish we could get a cheaper car than a van, might make us feel better, we do spend a lot on gas.
we are in litres here, does anyone know how many litres in a us gallon, we are up to $2.06 per litre, prob going up to @2.09 very soon, it never stops does it? america used to have one of the cheapest gas prices around, i remember us always commenting on that in NZ,but i guess it is getting more expensive by the day there too.
Saw $4.25 earlier today.
It's $4.09 here now.
where I live gas is 7.8 (pesos) per liter.... and to convert that to a per gallon and in dlls... it would be like
1 dll = 10.70 pesos (aprox)
and 1 gallon is 3. something liters
I´m brain dead on maths.... so I´ll levae those conversions to you LOL
on another forum someone posted this link which I thought was cool

It's $3.99 for regular.
I filled up before Leaving Findlay today at the local Kroger and with my Kroger card I saved .10 a gallon!! so I filled up for $3.89 for regular!
Isabel:
1 liter = 0.264 172 052 36 gallon [US, liquid]
Looks like $2.82 a gallon! Someone else try this...or we're takin' a convoy to Mexico! :D
