Zipper

Logan I went in search of a thread after I got your e-mail. Actually I was hoping that someone might post a picture or two of Zipper and I am so thankful that Jess chose the ones she did. These pictures are precious but hard to view at the same time. I agree with Candy in that he probably thought life in your home was a little slice of the Rainbow Bridge in advance. Now he will enjoy it for real and with his health restored. Run free with Murphy sweet Zipper. You were both loved by many people whom you never even met.

Rest In Peace Zipper. God called you home to him much sooner than
expected, but I'm sure you left on your journey with a heart full of love for
your human family.You will be sadly missed.

Thank you all so much. Your words have more impact that you could possibly imagine. I am home alone. Scott is out of town and I had to pick up Helen and take her to a babysitting job tonight and I truly was dreading the task because I knew she would ask about him and I knew she would be heartbroken. I know my girl and I was right. I hope the babysitting will keep her distracted so she can function a bit.

I know you all already know this, but losing a precious one is so difficult. I need to be needed and without Murphy or Zipper needing me, I hardly know what to do. Honey and Lilly, bless their hearts, are right here and are absorbing lots of tears from me.

Thank you, Jess and Anna, for sharing the pictures you did. I will try to post the picture of Zip on his first night here (as a foster), later. That sealed the deal! He became a precious part of our life for almost 3 years.

Rescue is good, my friends. It helps the dogs, but more importantly, it adds value to our lives. We may wait a while, but we will add another to our family, eventually. My motto for several years has been that I wanted to bring in a dog that needed me more than I needed him/her. I think I did that with Murphy and Zipper. Eventually there will be room for more in this house.

This is heart breaking news. I know how it feels to lose please accept my deepest sympathy. I would like to share this site with you it has helped me during my time of grief. There's a Monday night candle lighting for all our pets that are now at Rainbow Bridge and much more. If you're not able to make it I will light an extra candle and say a prayer for Zipper.

I'm so sorry Logan :( I'm at a loss as to what to say but just know that we're all here for you. Zipper was a lucky dog to have such a caring mom like you.

Many condolences on the loss of Zipper. I, too, remember reading some of the first posts that announced his arrival; through the pictures, you could just see what a dear, sweet soul lay beneath that mound of golden fur. He definitely couldn't have found a better home.

I am so very sorry to hear of Zipper's passing. Many prayers are being said tonight and mine will most definitely be among them.

please excuse me for just seeing this as i've been off the computer since yesterday. please also forgive me for whining and ranting while you were enduring such worry and fear.i also remember one of the first photos of Zipper playing card shark! my heart knew that day that the deal was sealed.
altho he wasn't with you for long, you must know, as we all do, that Zip had the most loving, caring, happiest life with you. i'm sobbing with sadness for you. no words are sufficient to express my feelings. the only consolation is knowing Zip and Murph are together. {hugs}

Zipper was such a Fine Dog and I know that he will be a fine Pet Angel.

You know, I just had a message from my dear friend, Sandra (Tatsxxx11) and she lost her precious Mr. B (Buddy) tonight. What I picture is that Cody and Murphy have greeted Zipper and Buddy in heaven and are showing them around now. I need to believe that and I know Sandra does too. I am too sad for words. :(
