I would only freak out if you peeked out your window and saw him sitting in his car for hours on end ... or knocking on the door and saying hi.
It's a little strange but at least he fessed up and let you know he has some unusual habits!
I love the colour of your car. I want my bike resprayed in that colour - I even bought an eyeliner pencil with the covering in that colour so I could take it to the paint guy as a sample :o
When I was at my old job, I was tempted to drive my the comapny owners homes to see hoe the big-wigs lived...but I thought it was a little weird and never did it.
I don't know which is more creppy...that he did it, or that he told you. Some people seem to think it was good he fessed up, I think it makes it seem like he wants you to know he is watching you. Weird either way...but unless it becomes habit I'd try not to worry too much
Years ago, my husbands old boss flew his plane around looking for our house. He said he saw the cars and remembered the new building we told him we where woking on, thats how he knew it was our place. The next day he was knocking on the door! :confused: At first it did freak me out some but, after awhile we got over it and just laughed at the thought of him flying around looking for our home.
The fact that he told you he did that, should ease your mind some. If he was up to something wrong, he would have never told you.
It is a little odd, but I would just ask him why. Be honest and tell him it kind of struck you odd that he looked for your home and you are just wondering why. Just don't make a big deal out of it to him. Make a joke out of it, tell him "What are you planing on checking me out next time I call in sick?" laugh and see where it goes from there. One: maybe he relize that he over steped his place some and Two: maybe it will ease your mind some what, if you get a answer.

My first inclination is to say he's really weird and needs to get a life. But then I started thinking about people who grow up in small towns (like my husband). They know where everybody lives and the type of house they have so to them it's normal. Perhaps this applies to your boss.

I don't think it's weird, if my friend tells me their address and we happen to be driving near there, I like to go past and see. Human nature, curiosity. :)

If he was really stalking you, or up to no good, he wouldn't have told you he was doing it. The fact that he mentioned seeing your house seems to me to mean that it's all innocent.
I personally like to look at houses. I'm interested in houses, yards, neighborhoods, etc. Sometimes my boyfriend and I just go for a ride to look at houses and yards. If I happened to see a co-worker's or a friend's car at a house, I probably would say, "Hey, do you live on Main Street? I happened to drive by, and saw your car there. Nice house!" or something like that.
Well I think it's off kilter! Not the looking at your house all by itself but the looking and then telling you. (so I agree with Cincy'sMom). It would be like looking in the medicine cabinet and then saying, oh me and my wife looked in your medicine cabinet" ok not exactly.. bad example! Well, it would bother me and if it were me, i'd find an opportunity to say something like, "so why were you in my neighborhood that day?" Then say no more, let the silence work it's charms- he will have to answer something. He has not flirted with you at all? If no, are you sure you haven't missed messages? He could be using "with my wife" as a protection to feel you out... I don't know, what does your gut tell you? Your initial reaction was to be on guard and there is certainly nothing wrong with that! Womens intuitions have been often proven to be on the right track! we can sense when things are just not on the up and up. Sometimes we have trouble paying attention to our intuitions- thats when we get into real trouble! So do what you feel is right.
