I consider her Orange and white. I consider Darell, Orange and white and he's about the same color.Quote:

Genetically, 80% of orangies are males.
I have and orange and white female, and orange and white male, an orange female and I had an orange male....so for me...50/50.
My PUMPKIN is an orange and white female!!!! :D :D :D
Hi, I have a long haired male orange tabby (Oliver), an orange and white male (Sebastian), and a brother and sister who are manx kitties-orange tabby (Bailey) and his orange and white sister Willow. Also, I now have another orange tabby male kitten (Colby Cheese) and a pretty pale orange (almost buff colored) male kitten (searching for a name) any suggestions? I have always heard that male orangies are very sweet and have found this to be very true!!! I've also heard that female orangies are a little more tempermental (and this holds true with my Willow, but we love her all the same).
I can vouch for that !!!Quote:

I was going to say that, but I wasn't quite sure on the percentage. I knew it was pretty high though. :)Quote:

I voted Male....I've only had Orion and he's an orangie with white boy! :)
My first cat was Tiger, an orange tabby male! :)

I have had 4 orange males (Sam, Charlie, Abner, and Tobias) and 1 female (Pumpkin) that belonged to my mom.
I guess the Barli-man is an orangie. Sort of a pale one. Barbara came up with the perfect word for his shade—apricot! :D Anyway, I assume he qualifies. And, despite his prettiness and prissiness, he’s a boy!
That hasn't been my experience. My RB Goldie was a female orangie who was SO sweet. I still miss her. I didn't vote because I consider Mishi an orangie and not an orange and white, even though he has a white muzzle, or does that count? Mishi is turning into a mama's boy, so sweet and snuggly. I love my orange fluff-muffin! :)Quote:

Tigger has some white, and he is a male
I don't have any cats, but my moms friend has a female orange and white one named Trixie. she also has an all orange female named mango.
Female orangies are like male calicos... rare! Male calicos are more rare, but I know something like 80+% of orangies are male, as are buffs (which can still be considered an orangie). Also, most female orangies, like male calicos, are sterile. :)
