I like something over me too, so I have a light throw. I do have the A/C on, but due to electrical rates, not as low as I'd like or the dogs either. I notice they've all deserted the bed for the cool ceramic tile in the bathroom. Thank goodness I went with Smoothies. Rough Collies would be so miserable here now.

I also have to have a cover on me to sleep - I don't keep the A/C on as high as I'd like because it gets so expensive, so sometimes I only use a sheet, but as of now it still has a sheet and our microfiber comforter
just a sheet. Beanie keeps me warm. i say he keeps me warm because i leave my window unit on all night for the sibes. it's right over my bed so it blows right on me. i'd much rather be freezing that have Gracie or Ocean be uncomfortable.
I like to use a sheet and cotton comforter to cover up with.I do like it
cool when I sleep. AC is one of the greatest inventions of our time. :D
Smokey always sleeps at the foot of the bed & Maggie loves to sleep on
the cool wooden floor or directly on the air vent in the living room.
P.S. The kitties are persona non grata in the room at bedtime. They can't
seem to do without a 3 am round of tag. :)
I only have one blanket on my bed unless I'm cold, then I get a fleece blanket. I use a fan with the comforter-like blanket durring the summer.
I start out with a thin sheet on me but after about oh a minute or so I end up throwing it off of me. My boyfriend likes to be covered though. It works out well because we never fight over the blankets. lol
same here.. I just feel more comfortable with a blanket. :)Quote:

Thank God for Central Air Conditioning!!!
First off, the quilted bedspread is cast aside, !!!!!
over head fan is whirling!!!!!! (just installed a new one!!! )
cotton sheets, top sheet with a thin cotton quilt!! (homemade of course) ;)
Turning the pillow over and hanging a leg out once in awhile helps!!! :D
My room gets really cold at night so I have many blankets on top of me.
Starting from the matress and working your way up I have: a sheet, a blanket that covers my legs, then the comforter that is usually folded back halfway, and on top of that a thin blanket that I can ust to keep my upper body warm.
I've been sleeping like that for most of the summer, and never do I feel hot. We but the AC on around 70* at night, and my room is always cool so it gets even colder! No wonder the dogs always sleep in my room. lol.
