This dog is an excellent hunting dog for large game such as bear and is rarely kept as simply a pet. It is however, good with children and enjoys being around people. Typically it's coat is brindle but can come in slate/blue, fawn, or a saddle back. It does well living outdoors.
Is it a Weimaraner?:)
