Whew, exciting! First two games, 3-1 Detroit. Next two, 4-2 Pens.
I'm hoping no OT - the washington/pitt series had 3 OT games and I almost lost my mind. I'm betting this goes 7 games.....

What's with the repeat scores? I wonder if Detroit will win 3-1 again on Saturday (I hope not!) Go Penguins!
:D "cost cutting" love it!
Have you priced soy ink, lately?;)
Hey, down to the nitty gritty tonight. On Versus, they had a commercial that counted all the minutes in the NHL playoffs. It's down to 180-not counting commercials-and I hope they are the best of the year.
Rock on fans, you deserve it!!!!!
Sid is showing his age - and losing his cool.
RED WINGS 5
Penguins 0
Penguins taking really stupid penalties once again. Their frustration is showing. That's one thing about the Wings - those games they lost, they kept their cool.
Datsyuk being back made a huge difference.
This is related to hockey - and also to WWII. From the NY Times -
Quote:
The Red Wings’ P.A. announcer, Budd Lynch, was given a standing ovation on the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Lynch, 91, served in the Essex Scottish Regiment of the Canadian Forces in Normandy and lost his right arm during combat a few weeks after the invasion. Five years later, he joined the Red Wings as play-by-play announcer and has been with the organization ever since.
Ugh, I don't even want to talk about that game. The young guys got frustrated and lost it. They took WAY too many stupid penalities. They are going to have to pull it together for tomorrow night's game. They are the comeback kids, and they will be playing with their backs against the wall, so I do think that it will be a much better game. GO PENS!
Game 5 was a disaster!
Yeah, someone upset the delect repeating score syndrome.:confused::mad:
Well it better not be a repeating score! I seriously doubt it will be, if the Pens do lose game 6 it won't be like that. I hope that they would at least go out with dignity. Not thinking about that yet though, just hoping that they force a game 7.
I think part of the Pens problem the other night is that they were overconfident going into the game, had some great chances in the first 10 minutes, then detroit scored and they got frustrated. They just didn't recover.
