Just got the call from the vet, Winnie did fine with her surgery and is awake now. She can come home tomorrow morning!!! :D
Angel is laying on the floor playing with my shoe right now. She did really well in the bathroom last night. She acts like she has lived here forever. She and Chester even played pawsies under the bathroom door. :D
Thank you all again for all the prayers and well wishes for all of us. :love::love::love:
Moff, if you stopped posting pictures of Angel, there would be such a hue and cry from all of us - we would just hop a flight to Kansas and steal her away.:D
I am so glad to hear that Winnie did well - bless her heart - she has already given birth to a true Princess - so her job is done!

I bet you are all wondering how Winnie is, right! Well, now you can see for yourselves. She is sporting a new collar too! We wanted pink but they didn't have any pink so we got Royal purple! :) She already went to show it off to our neighbor, Mary, who helps keep an eye on her. :D

Winnie is so darn cute! She is smaller like my Paizly. It makes them still look like kittens (well, Paizly still is at about 1 1/2 years old). Winnie is still pretty young too isn't she?
I'm also glad to see Angel settling in well in the house with the other two kitties. :D :D

Winnie reminds me so much of Mz Edwina and I'm sure she would agree that the pretty new collar makes quite the fashion statement.

Take it from me. It takes a while but it is worth. You CAN get used to furred or furrless....it is new and different - being inside...but trust me...when it gets to be cold and wet outside it will feel so nice to be warm and cozy.
You will make friends - and the ones without fur are such good hunters you will never know another day of hunger!

Well, Winnie still has to stay outside. For a while anyway. Chester and Grandma haven't adjusted to Angel yet. Grandma smacked at her last night when she wouldn't take a hissy hint and tried to crawl into a chair with Grandma. Chester smacked at her this morning just for trying to play with his tail. Guess he doesn't remember all the times he grabbed Luke and Leonardo's tails. But all smacks have been air smacks no contact. So now we wait a while.
Winnie checked out her new bed on the back porch. The porch is enclose on two and a half sides so she can get out of the weather. She also had to check the shed, just in case I left Angel in there. I did let her see angel through the back door. Angel is so fast now, I can't let her outside. I'd never catch her if she took off. Still, we are all making progress in the right direction and our neighbor, Mary, will help watch out for winnie. Sorry, but it's the best I can do for now.
I wanted her to have the collar so people would know someone loves her. :love:
When she got spayed, did they also chip her?

No, no chip. They did tell me about it but it's $30 which is not bad but then it's $15 a month from then on to keep it active. I just can't swing that. :(Quote:

Miss Angel is turning into quite a character. She has been hissed at by both Chester and Grandma today. Swatted at too but they never really hit her.

What a babe! I just want to pick her up out of the sharing pic.
I have that exact same track ball toy, color and all. My cats played with it for years and years but now they are bored with it but I definitely got my $10out of it.
Chester is also so pretty in his carrier. They will all get along soon. It is tough at first getting used to a new kid sister. :D

I've already told you that I think Winnie is beautiful and that Angel is the cutest kitty ever, but I would be remiss if I didn't add that Chester is a very handsome boy! I love his glossy black fur! Very striking!

She is so beautiful- look at how that fur shines. Do you ahve any idea who her daddy is. Because Winnie looks so dainty while Angel is all plump and strong :) It will be so much fun to see her grow up :)

Toys are a good way to introduce Angel to Chester & Grandma.
They can learn a lot about the baby just by watching her play.
How is Winnie doing?
Winnie is doing great. She just ate her supper. She's been on the back porch most of the day because it's been pouring rain here all day. She does have one spot that looks like it may have oozed a bit and is redder than the rest. It looks lots better tonight. I'll keep a close eye on her.
Poor Lilac didn't get to have any food today though. Winnie must have chased her off. Winnie considers this "her home" now. Lilac didn't even show up. At least with Winnie wearing a bell, Lilac can hear her coming and stay clear. I don't want her beat up again. :(
