I got fired. :(
I'm totally devistated right now. I don't, in any way, blame my boss, who the heck wants an employee that is sick all the time? I sure wouldn't!
I was out sick yesturday because I ate something at lunch that made me ill for about 24 hours. I couldn't have helped it, other than not eating it...had I known, I surely wouldn't have eaten it! :( I was miserable...but now its even worse.
My boss was totally upset at having to do this, but who could blame her?? I can't.
She said that once my surgery is over and I'm better, she wants me to work for her, but I doubt it'll be my position of Office Manager. She'll hire that person ASAP. :(
The only good thing is I just got a call from my surgeon's office and they moved the surgery up. It'll be July 26th. So I'll be able to heal and figure things out sooner.
Ugh...I'm so upset. I mean, I have no one to be upset at. I can't be mad at her, she needs to think of her company. I can't be mad at me, I can't controll this horrid disease. But its getting to me. Its taken away so much of my life and I've fought like hell to stay positive.
God, I need prayers, guys.

Oh no!!! Oh I'm ever so sorry... that truly is terrible news! And I'm sorry... but i would be angry at my boss if she did that! If I was sleeping in, not showing up due to hangovers, etc, I'd understand it... but not when you're ill! She should just have given you a break, and gotten a temp in to do your job until you get better (she does know you're going in for surgery, doesn't she?)...
Good luck with the surgery on the 26th, and good luck with the job situation!

I am so so sorry. I hope your surgery makes you well.
-
Wow that sure bites. Did you like that job? If not this could be a blessing in disguise.
-
Oh, Kelly I am so sorry :( If you need to talk I am here. (((hugs)))

Kelly I am so sorry! I like to believe, although it is hard sometimes, that things happen for a reason. Maybe once you have had your surgery and begin your "new" life, maybe a new beginning at a new job will be just what you need. Glad that they moved your surgery up. The sooner it is done the sooner you will feel better. Best wishes and prayers to you.

Big {{{HUGS}}} to you Kelly. I'm very sorry you've lost your job but i'm glad you're not taking it out on yourself or your boss. I hope that once your surgery is through with that your life becomes stable. I've been thinking about you, although not posting much, you've been on my mind. If you need anyone to talk to, my PM box or AIM is open to you (frailwit is my newest screenname) as you've always been there when I needed to chat.
Well wishes to you sweetheart, I wish you the best.

Oh Kelly. :( I'm so sorry to hear of this. :( I'll be praying that things work out for you. Gosh...I can't imagine how difficult this is. {{{hugs}}} to you during this difficult time. Hopefully everything will turn out for the best.

I am so sorry to hear this. You've worked so hard. Difficult though it may seem, try to look on the bright side. Without the job to worry about, you can concentrate on getting well and staying that way. The stress of trying to go to work every day may have worn on your system and make you even sicker.
You have all my prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

Thank you all, so much.
I just got off the phone with Tonya, Slick and Gini.
You are all amazing, I can't thank you enough for your support and faith in me. Thank you.

Oh Kelly I'm so sorry. I can't imagine what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers to you that you will have a safe surgery, a speedy recovery, and that everything will work out for you.
I firmly beleive that God has a plan for us and that all things happen for a reason. We may not see the reason right away...it may take us months or sometimes years to know what that reason was but keep your chin up and keep a positive attitude.

Kelly, I am so sorry you got such bad news, but at least you still have a job with her after your surgery (and it's always MUCH easier to look for another job whilst you are still employed).
Just concentrate on your surgery and recovery afterwards - these things usually happen for a reason - just try to remain positive - there will be a MUCH BETTER opportunity for you just around the corner!!
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers

Kelly,
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Now you can have your surgery and have time to recover without the stress of work on your mind.
I have 100% faith that even bad things happen for a reason. And most of the time, when you look back on them, you will realize it wasn't as bad as you thought, and maybe even a good thing.
You're a strong person. You're going to recover quickly from your surgery and get started on a new job feeling HEALTHY! Won't that be great!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm here if you need me.
