Zazou is an indoor cat.
Everytime when Inka or Maya come back inside from a walk in the garden, Zazou does this "smelling bumps".....
So cute :):)

They say they do this because that is how they recognize each other. They don't recognize each other by sight like humans. I am so glad humans don't have to do that. :p

They sniff there because that area is the strongest scent of a Cat!
A bit pugent , but every Cat has their own smell.
At first I thought that only dogs did this but my cats do this to each other all the time.:) Pearl will even go a bit further and try to wash everyone's bottom like a mama cat would.;)
