You are the MOST gorgeous kitty ever! Even though I have a Siamese who allows me to live with him, I have a secret love for calicoes and torties. I'm surprised to hear that you like all sorts of people; the calicoes I have known had a lot of snobbiness in them, and were particular about who they would associate with. Not you though! ... or maybe, Turtle Dove, found in a tree? The turtle dove: a symbol of love. She is BEAUTIFUL :eek: and is similar to my tortie, Serena, who also doesn't like other cats. Serena hisses and growls at the other 4, even if they're just sitting and not paying any attention to her. She won't admit that there are times she probably enjoys being chased around. As it happens, I pet-sit for a tortie girl named Turtle here in Ann Arbor.. I will be visiting her again over Christmas. When I first saw the COTD picture and read the name, I wondered if "my" Turtle's purrents had submitted her picture. But then I read on and learned that today's celebrated Turtle is a flying Texan, neither of which mine is.
