Pinot & the new mini Dell.

There is a new funny issue in our house, and it concerns Pinot and my new mini Dell computer. As I sit here in our library/music room with the mini on my lap, I suddenly got company. You all don't know this, but Pinot is NOT a lap cat. She cuddles with me, sleeps behind my knees, but is NOT a lap kitty. She climbed up the arm of the chair, at first tried to walk on the keys (try typing through that), then settled herself at the front of my lap carefully placed between me and the mini. I petted her for quite a while, she then climbed into the open window behind me; I took the opportunity to open up the Dell and finish what I was doing. She came out of the window and tried to get to the keyboard again. She has now resettled in her window.

Don't be surprised if you get a post from her some day! I think she's taking notes!;)

OMG I was just going to post this same thing about Buddy. Bud is a lovey boy and will let you pick him up and hold him anytime you want. However, he has NEVER been a lap cat and I have had him for about 7 years. I just got my lap top 2 weeks ago. Last week he jumped up on my recliner with me and laid down on the arm of the chair and went to sleep. I couldn't believe it. Now he almost always gets up here and rubs on my arms, purrs and just loves me up big time. Of course, I am loving it. Wonder what it is about the lap tops?

Mine don't like the computer because they are jealous of the attention that I give it. I have only laptops now so all I can say is that if I am doing anything, one or more are hanging around, being curious as a cat, and in the way sometimes. Such as letting me type through legs and fur.

Lady Jane watches the screen cursor. I jsut hope she doesn't try to catch it. she also chases light beams, which is something the other two do not do.

Tigris loved to lie half on the keyboard and completely on the mouse (Why is it called mouse if I cannot have it, is what he said;)).
I miss him sending messages.

Tigris was waiting for his messages from Eve and she loved getting his messages too:love: He was such a sweet loving romantic boy and we miss him too.

Good for you learning how to use your Meowmie's laptop compooter. They seem to be more paw friendly than those big things that take up our space on the desks. You have my e-mail address, right? I hope to hear from you soon!
