RIP Mitzi
My sister's cat, Mitzi got very sick last night and they had to take her to the ER. She ended up staying the night and today Julia took her to their vet. Her white cell count was way up so the vet suspected cancer. And that was what it was - intestional cancer and it was so far advanced that there was nothing they could do for her. So Julia had to make the decision we all hate to make - to put her down. Mitzi was 14 years old and a very beautiful, loving cat. She really loved her mom a lot and was always sitting on her lap or meowing so Julia would come get her. Julia's cats are her babies and she will miss Mitzi a lot. (she has 3 others). Here are a few pictures of her.

What a beautiful girl, with some light colours on her tummy - she reminds me of a dilute Tortie. :)
Mitzi, you lived a long and beloved life with your people, and you could not have had a better home. Be at peace, baby girl.

Is this the sister I met when we all went to the Great American Mutt Show in Toledo? If so her cats were just beautiful and I'm sure I must have seen this gorgeous girl.
Please tell her that send my condolences.

Frolick heartily at the Rainbow Bridge, sweet Mitzi. It sounds like you were as loving a cat as you were a beautiful one. Maybe you can whisper a loving purr to your Meowmy as she's missing you.
