Simply Phoenix *New pics - Sept.10th * :)

Well, to say this little calico girl is keeping me on my toes is an understatement! Every day I'm amazed at how much energy a kitten has in there little body.At night she loves to snuggle herself against your neck and then will lick you like crazy. :D


I've been trying to get a good picture of her eye colour, but she moves a mile a minute. It's a beautiful amber colour but the lighting upstairs is creating shadows:

I love my calico girl but hope that Nakita will also break down and become friends with her soon as well. ;) This weekend I'll let them go face to face and see what happens.

I fall in love with your adorable Phoenix more with each new picture you post. She must be some kind of sweetheart being so affectionate. I'm sure that with time and patience, Nakita will happily accept this strange little newcomer. Maybe Nakita needs to be reassured that her position in your family is secure and she's not being replaced by Phoenix. There's no question that before long Nakita and Phoenix will be the very best of friends. Scritchies and tummy rubs to both of your sweeties!

She is one gorgeous baby girl! Her eyes are stunning, and that chinny spot just melts me like butter!!! :D

Phoenix sure is a cutie pie.:) I hope that everything goes smoothly with the face to face introductions. Please continue to keep us updated and be sure to take a lot of pictures too.:)

Kakita may be put off at first by Phoenixs energy.
But I think that eventually they can learn to be friends, and Nakita may revert to her Kitten Days.

Yes, she is FULL of energy. I use a Canon camera for all my pictures and really recommend that brand. I haven't been able to get many action shots yet because I'm usually trying to play with her with one hand and then take the picture with the other. I'll have to get Rob to play with her and then I can focus on taking the pictures.

For the last shot I was playing with a feather toy on a stick and shot it up into the air and then took the picture. It's not very clear since I was moving the toy in my hand at the time. ;)
