I got this sweet wee girl in late November, and I was told she was an old lady at the time. She is fairly hard to photograph, so I don't have many pictures of her. She is a tad tubby, but that is due to genetics, orange mice are prone to obesity no matter how much they exercise.
She is a very sweet girl, never struggles, runs or puts up a fuss when I scoop her out of her cage. She also puts up with loads of love and kisses. I don't actually think she is as elderly as the petstore said, she is feisty and active. I love her color, a rich orange with no other color to mar her perfection.
Mandarine likes bird seed, and pumpkin seeds. So much so, that she will try to steal another mouse's pumpkin seed. They often have tug of wars with lots of squeaking. Mice are generally quiet but not when fighting over food. She loves to hide, eat and sleep in her coconut. It is a coconut shell cut in half to make a bed. Sometimes she and her cagemate turn it upside down and sleep in it that way haha. She doesn't do much wheel running. But she is always warm soft and squishy when I want to hold her.
