I adopted Squirrel along with another female guinea pig a couple of months ago. After having both of them just a couple of weeks, I realised Squirrel was pregnant and her daughters Peanut and Fudge were born just a few weeks on. Did you know guinea pigs can get pregnant when they are only four weeks old themselves? I was glad her ababies were okay, seeing how young she was herself when she got pregnant.
Squirrel is a good mother. She loves looking after her babies and lounging in her hammock as you can see in the picture. She is very vocal when it comes to her food and knows when the door is opened that it's on its way! I love her!
