Boomer was a one-of-a-kind horse. He was known for being very, very smart. He was the most unique looking horse I've ever seen in real life. He was a Paint horse, and his color was red roan. His name on papers was Cowboy Doubledeuce, but his barn name was Boomer. His nicknames included Boom-Boom, Monkey, Crazy, and my own name for him, Pony. I would ride him, and my sister would ride his brother, TJ.
Boomer was a crazy ride, he would buck just because it was fun and he loved to go fast. I worked with him and taught him how to jump. We competed in a little fun show, and I was so proud of him when we won the barrel race, and the jumping competition. Sadly, Boomer got sick and suddenly died one day. He was twenty years old, but never seemed that old. I miss him so much. Love you, Pony.
