This
wee female had one of her legs and most of her tail bitten off with the
umbilical cord when she was born. She has always been feisty, She jumped out
of my hand as a baby and fell on the floor, and I'm glad she didn't hurt
herself. I bred her myself. She has gradually warmed up over the eleven months
she's been alive, she somehow manages to get along with only one back leg.
Now she's a mummy's girl, she totally doesn't mind being held anymore.
Hobbles loves pumpkin seeds and peanuts like the rest of my mice, and I have
started buying bird seed for them which she also loves. She puts up with more
affection now and is even loving back. She's still feisty though she never
lost that, sometimes she still runs when I try to hold her. She's a sweet,
pretty girl. She currently lives with three other females, I love her dearly.
She is active too; she doesn't seem to be fond of being lazy and fat. Hobbles
is my heart pet; I feel more attached to her than most.
