I
have a ferret as pet. First of all owning a ferret is just too amazing to
be true! They are cute, smart and funny. I have had my ferret (he's my first
ferret) for like eight months. The guy who was selling him, said that his ferret
was about one year old. But after I got him, I saw that he was like four years
old, and had medical problems. He had two broken and infected canines that must
have hurt, and he was under 800 g (1.8 pounds), and that is skinny ... far too skinny for
an adult ferret.
I am happy to say now he's a big beautiful boy (he is now 1200 g [2.6 pounds]) and I
totally love him! He runs free in the entire house and my whole family loves
him. He is sweet, and friendly, and a much happier boy now! We play games
with a towel with him, and he loves to play attack it, or my hand, but never
hurts me. He loves his skritches, too! He even goes for walks on a leash!
