This
is Hedgie, she likes to eat, and sleep, and play. Her full name is
Hedgie Improper, but we call her Hedgie all the time. She eats dry cat food
and mealworms as a treat. She is partially mine, and partially my sister's
pet. Taking care of her is pretty easy, you swap the newspaper where she
poops daily, and clean the rest of the cage weekly. The worst part of
cleaning is the wheel.
In the spring and summer she can go outside and play in the grass. For some
reason she likes to get her head stuck in a toilet paper tube (I wish I had a
photo of this). When she sleeps she sometimes snores and kicks her back right
leg or twitches her front paws. She also likes to crawl up my sister's shirt
and take a nap. Sometimes when the sheets are about to be changed on a bed,
we let her crawl around under the covers. Overall she is mellow and cuddly,
even though she is a hedgehog. Her belly is super soft, especially after a
bath. She likes to swim in the bathtub and sit on our mega rubber ducky. She
was a bit tough to get, since you need to find a breeder here, but it was
well worth it. We love her!
