Percy
is one of my first ferrets, we had been hoping for a ferret for a long
time. We had initially planned on waiting a year or two before we got them
because we also have thirteen rats and two dogs, but we couldn't resist their
faces! We brought him home with his brother and let them settle in. The next
day I received my shipment of parrot toys (Great toys for ferrets and rats!)
and we decked out the cage. Percy went nuts playing with everything.
Percy is a very hyper ferret who loves to bite toes and chase you around the
living room or bedroom until you jump up on the bed or sofa to get away from
him. He loves playing in his ball pool and knocking all the balls out so he
can chase them around the room. He likes to torture his new cagemate Teddy
who is a ferret from another litter. He waits till Teddy has woken up and
hides under the beds in the cage, when Teddy finishes in the litter tray
Percy will run at him and wrestle him to the floor. While Percy seems to want
to go into the wrestling business, I think he would suit better in the cute
and cuddle department because he does like his cuddles.
