Mysty
is basically a gentle giant. She is only four years old but she will
get much bigger - by quite a few inches actually. Right now she's like 14.8
hands. She spooks very easily at cars or loud noises and is very well behaved
while being ridden bareback. You can trot or canter bareback and it is almost
easier than with a saddle! She has this super long mane that gets tangled in everything.
She has only been ridden for one year and still needs a lot of work, but she
is very good at jumping and her trot and canter strides are huge! She rides
better outside than inside. She is very sweet and is one of the only horses I
have known that comes running to me when I call her name. She always loves
meeting new people and nibbles on everything she can find. She does have a
wild side. She will jump over a ground pole like it's a four-foot jump. Then
she'll canter and make a sharp turn and then trip and fall on her knees or
she'll throw a big buck - but this is very typical for a young and
inexperienced horse. I love her to pieces! I was jumping her the other day
and she's amazing! She has to have another horse in front of her in order for
her to actually be motivated to do so. Her nickname is "Daredevil." She's
just the cutest, don't you think?
