I
got Pete after Christmas, 2001. I purchased him from a local pet store
where, he had been on consignment for most of his short life. At first,
he was very shy towards me, but has grown to be an affectionate little
bird. Although, he doesn't like his brother
Merlin
very much, I think in time they will be great pals.
Pete is a very pretty bird, and he knows it! Whenever, he wants
attention, or I wolf whistle he will call out "Pretty Bird". He doesn't
talk much, but knows several different whistles, and makes a sound like
a cash register! I think he is a very special bird, and I am very glad
I have him to brighten my days!
