Merlin
is a very special bird. I purchased him at about ten weeks old,
from a local pet store and hand fed and raised him from there on. He
is a very loving bird and is continually looking for "cuddles" (which
is tucking himself under my chin and getting a scratch). He talks, but
not very much, only when he thinks he isn't getting enough attention,
or to make sure he's not alone. He shares his home with two cats,
which he loves to tease. He will drop things from the cage onto them
whenever they make the mistake of walking under his cage. He is quite
a character. He loves pasta, mashed potatoes, and cheese. He does
several tricks, including rolling over, and back flips. I don't know
what I would do without his antics and unique bird humor. He is a
great companion to come home to. In this picture he's do his "Bye Bye
wave!"
