My new cat-cam live on the net!

We are now broadcasting live video of our cat live on the net!

Come and take a look :
    Cat-Cam

At the moment Kfitzi is sleeping there... not much action...

We will keep this going when we go on vacation so we can see them (if they will be in the room of course...) cool idea right? Till then I can watch them at work!

No matter what I click, or where, I just get a test pattern. What am I doing wrong?
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

we are now playing with the program, so you might not be able to see it now...

Lachesis - we are using a program from an Israeli service for web cams, and we pay for the service.... I'm sure there are services like that all around. I have no idea if you can do it alone.

I like this idea! I had a friend in college that had a web cam set up, so I could see if he was at his computer at any given time of the day! LOL LOL Usually if you get a web cam, it will come with the software to let you put it online

Look at this cutie sleeeeeeeepin'!! LOL

The camera does come with some software, and we used to talk to Ilan's brother in the state using Netmeeting or stuff like that, but This service stays online and on the same link as long as we are online... it's only 10$ a months, I think it worth it

    Ok, who's upside down?

    This is so cool.

Lachesis - do you ever get "pop-up" advertising while on the net for an X-10 camera? From what I understand, that's what you want for this. Next time it pops up check it out. I get them all the time. I only know about this because of work. One of our customers wanted them installed (in a nursing home) but then couldn't do it for some reason, so we have a ton of them laying around here. I've never installed one though, or worked with one so I don't know anymore about them.

Efrat - this is the neatest way in the world to keep from missing your babies while you're on vacation. Now if there was only sound involved, you could talk to them too so they don't miss you too bad.
