Gully Time - pics and video

    Hi y'all!

I got this Reindeer decoration. It lights up, rocks back and forth and sings "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer".

The Collies are very curious of it, but haven't tried to destroy it. Well this morning, I hear all this barking and went to see what was up. There was Gull in front of the Reindeer, with his duck toy laying at the Reindeer's feet, barking at the Reindeer to throw it. I have never laughed so hard. I guess he figures if it moves and sings, it oughta be able to throw his toy too.

Here he is with his duck. I swear he thinks he's a Lab.

Also, here's a really cute video of him running and getting in his bed:

Oh Gull, you big silly boy. I think it was very nice of you to try to share your game with the new guy in the house. You were just trying to make him feel welcome, weren't you?
Do you close your bedroom door too?

LMAO. That must of been a sight to see. lol

I love the vodeo, how he opens the crate door with his nose. Nanook & Raustyk can open doors & the such like that but I can't get Kaige to.... yet
Did you teach him to do that or did he just start on his own?

He sure is one handsome dude!
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

Aw thanks y'all! I tell ya I just love that lil' guy. He's almost 2 now, but he's still so puppy-like. Hope he stays that way.

I taught him to go get in his bed, but I didn't teach him to open the door with the nose slam. That was his own innovation. Collies seem to just naturally use their noses for things. That was Oz's crate originally and he use to open the door with his nose too. It's been so long since he's used it though, if I said go get in your bed to him, he'd more then likely jump on my bed.

He doesn't close the door. That I would definitely have to set out to teach him.

You know what I got a kick out of the most in that video? The way he so gingerly, delicately takes his reward at the end. That's a collie for ya . Both of mine were the same way. What a grin that put on my face. Thanks for sharing the pics and video. Seeing any of your trio is always a treat!

    Thanks y'all!

hey k9soul! Yep definite Collie, gentle with their mouths, not so much with their nose. Gull has harpooned so many people with his, I'm starting to call him Flipper.
