So many tuxedo cats, so little time!
They are moo cow marked, oreo cookies, piano keys, bandit face, police car cat (the police cars in my home town were called "black and whites" for their classic paint job), these darling classic pussycats, I'm with you guys, how could anyone NOT love these kitties!

well you see Aly, my heart is broken... my most wonderful cat (that I have alluded to) SUNNY was a tux. I've sorta tried to talk about him but I can't really. He helped me raise my kids (the furless ones) and was my ... everything. For 22 years...here I go again...but how can I not? Oh how I miss my Sunshine... but it is nice to know that he will be there at the RB. And so will all your loves.... you are a wonderful person Aly. Laurie
I reeeeaaaalllly like Bisco and Preux!
Miz Ritzi...tell yer Momma she madez a purrty collage!! ('course anything w/ tuxies is bound to be a hit!)
Laurie ~ reading your comments made me want to cry! I know exactly how you are feeling...I soooo miss my tux-man, Tom. And it's been 9.5 yrs since I lost him. *sniff* uh-oh...the eye sprinklers turned on...gotsta go catch the drips...
Those cats are adorable! I want them!!
George is the best kitty ever. I love him to pieces. I have known him since he was 3 months old and he's now a year old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He and his 2 brothers (Panther and Mario) have grown up at the shelter. I think I showed you their pics before on AIM. I go say good morning to George first thing every day. He'll lick my ear and bite my nose in that order. And he purrs louder than anything!! I call them 'The Big Three'. They have been in isolation for NINE months but guess what? LAST WEEK THEY MOVED UP FOR ADOPTION!!!! In fact, I almost got myself fired over George. This woman wanted him to be an indoor/outdoor cat and there was no way I could let that happen. He's basically grown up in a small metal box (our cages in isolation are metal but the adoption cages are a lot nicer) and there is no way he'd have any street smarts. Anyway I knew my supervisor wouldn't have a problem with that except for the fact that the woman who wanted him got REALLY rude with me and I got a little snippy back. We're really supposed to smile and nod when people yell at us and that's what I usually do BUT SHE WAS BEING MEAN and it was to protect my Georgie!!! But thankfully I still have a job, hehe.
Here's a pic I took of the Big Three in isolation.. this wasn't their cage, just their "holding cell" while I cleaned their bigger cage out:
Laurie - I'm sorry about Sunny. You did give him 22 beautiful years full of love though. I'm sure its a confort to know that he led a long, happy life. I wish you could meet George. He's the best (so are his brothers).
And Tonya, I'm sorry about Tom Both of your posts brought tears to my eyes.
Oh and Tonya, keep your eyes out for Molly, a new black and white kitty we got in. She's gorgeous.

Aly, I'm surprised George hasn't gone home with you. I could never leave animals in a shelter. I'd try to adopt them all. I hope he gets an extra special home.
Oh he'd be home with me right now if Shiloh wasn't a spoiled princess brat Someone PUHLEASE talk some sense into her and get her to like other cats!
I have a little secret though. I may be acquiring another dog. I'm trying not to talk about it because I'm not sure if it will happen or not yet. Its Reece's friend at the shelter. They've had a few play dates and I just found out he *may* be euthanized. If they decide to do this instead of put him back up for adoption, he will be coming to my house. He's very gentle and wonderful with Reece and I'm almost positive he and Lolly will work things out. I'm going to have her meet him sometime next week.
