    Question about Royal Canin

A vet donated 3 six-pound bags of Royal Canin Hypoallergenic HP 23 to the rescue. They asked if anyone would be interested or need it for any of their fosters, and jen reminded them that I have issues with Angel, so the bags came to me. Reading up online about it, it seems EXACTLY what she needs!

The plus side is that she actually ATE IT!!!! This girl has refused all dry food outside the Nutro Weight Management and Fancy Feast Dry (why am I not surprised )

Anyone else have any experience with it?

Its a bit more expensive than I'm used to, but if it works, it'll be worth every penny! I'm so appreciative that I got three bags for free (about a $70 donation!)

I haven't had any personal experience with it, but I've heard lots of great things about it. I've considered switching Tibby and Corkscrew over to it, but then decided against it because I really can't afford it and they seem to be doing well on Nutro so why change it!

That was a really nice donation! And I'm happy to hear that Angel likes it
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

my cats LOVE their royal canin. it IS expensive, but princess mojito suffers frequent bladder infections, and this has been the only food on which she has NOT had bladder infections,: so i can either give the store the money, or i can give it to the vet i guess.
joyce who has princess peanut, spokesdog for the catpack, mojo, magic, kira and squirty, members of the catpack, angel duke, a good dog who is missed and angel alex the wonder dog, handsome prince.

I've had a good experience with Royal Canin so far with my 3 kitties. I feed them the Royal Canin indoor formula, and all of my babies like it. Scooter hasn't even had a UTI in several years, which is great!

What a nice donation! I'm glad it's working out for Angel. It is more expensive...but I think it's worth it.

    **hugs**

I do know that Royal Canin is one of the best cat foods available, but I don't know anything about the specific types (like the hypoallergenic). I sure hope it works!!!

You and me both! Poor little girl has been so sick so long.

In the meantime, the boys LOVE it. Right now, at this exact moment, Harry and Pouncer are tearing a hole in the bag Guess this is one bag of food I CAN NOT leave out in the open.

PS: The boys will NOT be getting their paws on it. It'll only go to Angel and Flutter (by the way Flutter has had solid poopies since yesterday!!!!)

Royal Canin is the ONLY dry food that both Micah and Noah can eat without daily barfing! Its a great food....SO worth the extra money.

I have no experience with RC hypoallergenic but the RC Renal is the only food Filou likes. They for sure must know how to get the formula tasty

I have no experience with this specific one, but Peppito eats the Royal Canin Obesity management. We are happy with it.

I am surprised everybody says it is more expensive. Actually in France it is not more expensive than the equivalent other brands (Hill's, etc.).
