I have quite a few favourites, all in different genres, and I like them for different reasons. My study is crammed full of books, I have four large bookcases, and it still isn't enough to hold them. Some of my favourites include, The Belgariad- by David Eddings, The Lord of the Rings, I have a plethora of Star Trek books , Bernard Cornwell, is an author I enjoy immensley, The Convict- by Felix Melani.

All my favorites are by Nicholas Sparks. I usually hate reading but I can not put his books down. I've read A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, The Wedding and The Guardian so far. They're all fantastic!

Hands down, my favorite book is Tara Road by Maeve Binchy. I've read it twice and I know I'll read it again in the future (probably several times over).

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Without question, it's "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay. "The Grapes of Wrath" may come in a close second, depending on my mood, but my favourite never changes!
