Converting mpegs to wmv?

I'm talking about the videos we see here, of course. Do you convert them to wmv format or do you record them that way?

It's been so long since I've done anything with movies, I don't remember how to work with them.

Mine came off the camera as a .mov file, and I comvert them to an .avi file, which is the file Microsoft Movie Maker uses, Then I used Microsoft Movie Maker to edit and save the file. EASY (yeah right... I don't want to tell you how many frustrated hours I spent learning those basic fact! ) but honestly, once you get the basics, it is easy!

I used a freeware program downloaded form the internet -- Bink and Smacker freeware

I know somebody made a tutorial too about it.

I have, but they have to be very small to be attached, and most people can't view them.
