A question for our Canadian members.

How many of our Canadian members use English as their FIRST language, vs. French....or other??

We all post in English, and people from across the ocean often use English as a 2nd or 3rd language, but for some reason I tend to forget that a lot of Canada does NOT use English as its 1st language. So help remind me. And post YOUR first language, please.
    .

  2. I use english as my first language, as well as most of the other majority of Canadians My uncle is french though, and one of his sons are too, my uncle taught him words in french before english.

Other then english, my second language is french and my third is italian

    English first and only.

I took French in high school and got top marks but now I can only remember....

English is my first and only.

I took French Grades 1-3 and again in 7-10 but I hardly remember anything now... it went in one ear and went out the other. I was never very good at French.

Most french speaking Canadians live in Quebec, Montreal, and that area. I don't think we have anyone at PT from around there.

I am taking french in school and I am travelling to Quebec with my french class in May. I do know a fair bit of French but I can't speak it fluently.

actually we do, Primabella is from there I believe, but she is not on much during the school year, so it doubtfull that she will reply.
