    K&L visit PA !

What a wonderful visit we had....and in the POURING rain I might add!

Here is Lisa with the welcoming committee

Sterling was being quite the little ham today, rolling and showing off his silver belly. Hogging all the best photo shoots. but Lucas and Rutherford were not far behind, as I suspected.

Here are both Kevin and Lisa greeting the furries

We gabbed, and we gabbed some more....introduced cats as they came in....Only Ashley, Jim, Jasper and the three in the welcoming commitee were actually social. But a few more DID show up for treats.

I had a sandwich platter made, and also a cake (in honor of Lisa's recent birthday). And a dozen things to drink...but they all chose the apple juice .
So we ate and gabbed some more.

Then both Kim and I gave Lisa a little birthday gift.

Sterling had to be nosy and try to sneak a bite of cake

The little girls had a ball on my stairs (with a 3 story home, we have plenty of stairs) And kept trying to find Monte (what is it about Monte.....kids love him, but he is afraid of them)

Biddy and Fern got spotted, but only at a distance. Bonnie and Mickey (who by the way...HATE each other) found themselves huddling behind the desk together.....away from that bad old company. Amber and Kim made a token visit and eveyone saw the Willow under the cover, lump!

We visited with the fosters and gabbes some more.

An hour and a half visit and they were like your best friends that you have known for years.

Kim and I both hope that they liked us at least half as much as we liked them.

I know that they took pictures and I will be excited to see them when they return home.

    Thanks for coming!!

Yopur pictures turned out great Jen! Thanks for not taking any of me!

It was a blast! I sure hope I get to meet other PTers. So many of you have become wonderful friends - the best thing would be to meet my friends in person.

Wasn't it fun Jen??? See, I only got them for about an hour but I fell instantly in love with them. It does feel like you have known someone forever when you meet them from PT. I guess it's because you already know the common bond so there is none of that explaining yourselves to each other.

They were both so cat lonely and I'm glad they got a healthy dose of kitty at your house.

You know, it rained the whole time they were at my house too! That silly Lisa said she liked it since they hardly ever got rain so I guess it's following her. I bet she's sick of it by now!

Okay Jen, fess up, did you talk about me?

    YES

By the way, we all had a tremendous laugh when the girls were feeding treats. One of the girls was attempting to get Jim to take the treat (they were soft treats, and Jim does not care for the soft ones) She was actually trying to place it in his mouth.... and just as I was about to say "Oh, Jim doesn't care for them" he ate it, kind of like he was saying "OK! OK! I'll take it..SHEESH! "

It must have been so much fun for the kids to met all these furkids in the different places. If my parents had ever taken me for a visit like that.......

It is always like that when Pet Talkers meet: we have anticipated so much online that you really know the people

Oh yes, I have always thought that my Ashley looks remarkably like your Maya. I even tried to do a "who's who?" years ago, but I was not skilled enough to take out the background of the photos, so every one knew.
