I tuned into the Noon news and they said that it's almost the same as the one that hit in December. This one measured 8.7 and once again, thousands of lives are affected. It's all so tragic.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

It was very close to the epicentrum of the last one but it looks as if no tsunami arose this time.
However they were talking about 1000 deads this morning in the news here
I cannot imagine how people in these regions feel.
