Traffic light thieves caught red-handed
Two men have been arrested in Buenos Aires for stealing traffic lights.
The men, aged 19 and 38, were caught stealing lights from one of the Argentinian capital's busiest junctions.
After they were arrested, policemen found another four sets of traffic lights they had stolen from other streets.
Patrolling police officers were shocked to see them turn up with a toolbag and start removing the lights.
A police spokesman told Las Ultimas Noticias: "They were so bold and this is such an unusual crime.
"We still haven't really understood why they wanted all those traffic lights."
