Birds can still fly with clipped wings!

    ARGH!

If something spooks Ozzie, or any other clipped bird, he's going to be gone.

Clipping does not guarantee 100% no fligh, especially a smaller bird. The wind can easily carry a small bird!

Pleae people...don't assume your bird won't fly away if it is clipped- I know many, many people who have lsot their pets this way!

I had that happen to me....my cockatiel was clipped and would just nose dive when in the house. I confidently took her outside late last April for a jaunt around the backyard and she got spooked and flew away. It was chaos for the next two hours until I finally got her home safe and sound. If you love your bird please do not take him or her outside without proper protection. My story had a happy ending....many do not
