Cat Trees 101

In a previous thread, I was attempting to teach cats the proper ways to sit in/on cat beds. Last night, I was reading in bed and after looking thoughout my bedroom, I realized two of my cats have NO IDEA how to properly use their cat trees.

Okay, kitties gather around. Meowmies and Paw Paws spend a ton of money on cat trees and other such wonderful gifts so that you will use them. Stacks of laundry that Paw Paw doesn't find places for, chest of drawers, etc. are not cat trees and are not to be used in any manner for sleeping, looking out the window, whatever your little hearts deam necessary.

First we will look at the WRONG cat tree:

Here Shadow models the wrong cat tree aka chest of drawers (sorry for the mess ). Notice there is no where comfortable to sit because it is not made for kitties to sit on.




Here is Callie using her Paw Paw's clothes as both a cat bed and cat tree. Paw Paw's are not happy to come home to find cat fur all over his clothes; but then again he should have found somewhere else for them

Now Whisper models the proper cat tree:







See how Whisper happy looks! You could have that feeling too if you slept on a comfortable cat tree.

AND if you are really good, your Meowmie/Paw Paw might even give you a kiss!


Ignore my ugliness. Shadow gives kisses on command. Sweet huh?

I have a few kitties that insist on sitting in crowded uncomfy places instead of the nice clear spaces of the cat tree. I'll have to show them the tutorial! Give those models nice big smooches for me please!

Aww. Your kitties are so cute I think that for being so cute, they are entitled to lay on their Paw Paws clothes! Whisper could sell me any kitty tree if included with it Callie is as precious as ever.. And the kiss that Shadow gave you, may I have one also??? *hugs* Katie
