PT meeting (26 pics)

We had a nice time yesterday. We enjoyed meeting Kay, her dad, Simba, Nala, Kiara, Valerie, Duke, Audrey, her mom, and Zeke. We expected the trip over to Kays to take about 2 hours, but it ended up taking 3 hours, so we were late and missed playing in the dog park. We did however get there in time to meet everyone and then eat. Then we all went to the dog beach, with the exception of Kay's dad, Simba and Nala.

Beautiful sunset (one neat thing about Florida is you can stand on the beach on the east coast and watch the sun rise then drive across the state and stand on the beach on the west coast and watch the sun set)

The dogs slept the whole way home but this morning were ready to play.

Here Nova is playing with a toy from Kay.


This is what they were doing most of the morning, Charlie tried to play too, but the girls wouldn't let him.


Nova likes the football from Kay too.


Bitsy took one of the raw hide sticks from Audrey into the living room and chewed on it there.


Thanks Kay for all the great stuff, we love it.


Thank you Audrey for the raw hides, they're always a big hit in this house.

Oh my gosh, I am in love with Nova! What a CUTIE!!!! And your Pom is sooo adorable! You should post pics of your beautiful pups more often!!

Great pictures! Nova IS a doll!! It looked like you guys had a blast. The doggies are all so cute, and that one picture of all you humans and doggies is pretty good.

Why didn't Bitsy get to go to the meeting?

Bitsy didn't go for a few reasons- one because she is sometimes afraid of other dogs, especially big ones. Two, because on Christmas eve she hurt her back, she's still on medicine and she isn't suppose to be too active for a while. Third we felt we could only handle 2 dogs for the day.

Nova is a dog we are fostering. She is a wonderful little girl. She had a good time, except she was very car sick on the ride over.

Aww poor Bitsy..

I understand about the thing about being scared of other dogs sometimes. We rarely take Monica to dog parks because of that reason, plus she tries to eat the other dog... Megan, on the other hand, gets along with pretty much everyone and isn't scared of anything.

I hope Bitsy's back feels better soon!!
And I hope that Nova finds a wonderful home. I love that little girl!

Nova is a cutie. If I pm you with my email address, could you send me the full sized version of all of us together? I love the ones of them playing with that floppy frisbee. Duke slept a lot of the way home, too. We'll have to get together again and make sure we have more time. It's a lot more fun when you have plenty of time at the beach. I'm glad Audrey and her mom got to see it, though.

Absolutely, I'll send you the picture of all of us, just PM me with your address. Justin took like 6 pictures of us sitting there, but that is the only one that turned out.

I would love to go over again when we can spend more time at the beach.
