    Jiggled Goods

Our big guy is named Big Mac, but he never gets called that. Since he has such a tubby belly, one of his many nicknames is "Jiggle Wiggle Biggle". When he and his sisters were days old, we started rubbing them on their bellies, so now their way of greeting us is to "go belly up" to facilitate belly rubs. Today, when I came home from work, Big went belly up for me. As I reached down to rub, my son said "I've already jiggled that Biggle. He's jiggled goods". I just thought that was so funny, I had to share it! (I hope it's not one of those things you had to be there for.)

I love it! Your son has my kind of sense of humor... The first part, "I already jiggled that Biggle" made me laugh (I repeated it out loud and it just sounds funny), but the second part, "He's jiggled goods" is hilarious, too.

Well, maybe you'll laugh at this, too. After I signed off COTD, I went to the web cam at the S. Florida animal shelter http://www.sofla.com/events/special/...ard_pets.html.
The kitty in the spotlight was apparently asleep with his back to the camera, so my son shouted "hey!" at him and then tapped on the monitor to wake him up!

(He saw me posting this and said, "No! They'll think I'm stupid!")

4 Feline House.....That's a good one! Your son sounds like he provides you with a daily dose of laughter! Tell him he's not stupid at all. I'm sure if we were all honest we would have to admit to doing and saying some silly things too. To your son....Thank you for making me laugh tonight! Please be sure to let us know if your mom says something funny!

That is hilarious!!! I sure do wish my two would let me near their bellies, but they won't. They don't know what they are missing!

On a funny note, I was working at a trade show today, hoping to pick up a lot of business, and this man walked up and started talking to me about a loan for his business. All of the sudden.... he said "You must have a cat". I looked down at my scarred and scabby hands and said "Yes, you must have one too to know the signs". He just busted out laughing and said he did.
I need gloves. I don't believe in declawing, but Butter and Mimi have me back in my childhood days with all the scratches on my hands!!!

Hey Cinder -- I know there have been dogs shown on the "Florida Jail" website, they just haven't shown any in a while (I'm starting to check that site just as often as I check this one!). Hmm... Maybe that's a good sign that they aren't holding any dogs right now and they've adopted them all out?

4 Feline House -- Yes, tell your son we don't think he's stupid at all. I thought that was very funny, trying to wake up the kitty on the screen. hee hee!

Logan -- I currently have a one lonnnng scratch that runs the length of my hand, from knuckle to wrist! I forget how I got that one and I don't remember which of my two cats scratched me. These scars are just a reminder that I need to just bite the bullet (so to speak) and trim my kitties' claws more regularly! (easier said than done)

    Margaret,
I once had a kitty, who let me trim her claws.
Haven't done it in 11+ years. Don't think Mimi or Butter would allow it. I'd just get more scratches.
My hands look like a war zone. I'll have to get Helen to take a web cam pic so you guys can see just how bad they are!!!! Right now, I have scratches up to my elbows! I woke up last night, realizing Butter was asleep on the pillow next to me, and he bit my elbow!! Must have disturbed his beauty sleep.
    No rest for the weary....
    Logan
