    milkyway welcome to Pet Talk.

Puppy's like to chew on everything.
It is important that a puppy is supervised, which
is not easy to do around the clock. Please make sure
that their are no harmful plants where you
puppy can reach. (My Rocky was a horrible chewer
when it came to bushes and trees)
I tried putting stuff on my bushes and trees "called
Bitter Apple", I also put Rocky in a side yard sometimes
where their was nothing he could damage and gave him
safe things to chew on to keep him occupied.

I also tried to watch him/teach him as much as possible but
this went on for almost 2 years.
THen when he hit about 18 months old
a miracle happened. He stopped being
destructive. 6+ hoses, several bushes, 3 young trees,
outside chair, and a drip system,
knock on wood, he hasn't destroyed
    one thing in 3.5 years.
I am not sure why your pup cries when he is sleeping
in the same room as you. Unless he wants attention
or to go to the bathroom. (I am assuming your
    puppy is healthy)
Make sure he has safe toys to keep him occupied and
that you give him enough attention during the day.
At bedtime, if it is for attention,
it might seem cruel but you will need to ignore him.
Then eventually he will just go to sleep.
If you have the time get go to your local library
and check out some puppy training and behavior books.
I think you will enjoy reading them and it will give
you some ideas how to help you through this.
Not sure but in some areas, they even offer
puppy classes, if your pup is to young
    for obedience class.
    Enjoy your new puppy.
