    Thank you.

Amber is a Border Collie. Her parents were both working dogs. Her mother was Red and her father was Black and white.

The farmer that we got her off was concerned that he would be left with her as she has an all whte face and would not be of use as a worker

I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her - not bad to say that at the time I was actually after a Jack Russell

Why would the color of her face make a difference as to how hard she works? She seems like a good strong puppy, full of energy and eagar to please! Grrr I hate people who are so narrow minded that if a dog doesnt fit exact standard they must be no good.

A shepherd explained to me that an all white faced dog would be hard to distinguish amongst a flock of sheep. Yep, I can understand that, sort of, but what about cattle? You don't see many all white faced cows.

Either way, I'm glad as otherwise someone else may have beat me to her

    I feel the same way.

Amber is beautiful! She looks so gentle and sweet.

Amber is beautiful! I love red border collies, I don't understand why some people think they aren't as hard working or smart as the black ones, I don't think it really makes a difference it's just a colour.
