    Good for him! I can tell he's enjoying it - and he looks fit too. I used to hicth hike quite a lot in my 20 ties, mostly with a girlfriend, but I've done it alone too. You get to meet so many wonderful people and see places you wouldn't have. The longest distances I hitched was Puttgarden-Basel (I got a lift in a red Porche ) and London-Manchester - alone!
