    Cat Hair Magnet (pics)

I got this Cat Hair Magnet for Ally and Cody (hoping it would help with the shedding). Here are their reactions:

Hmmm, is that catnip I smell??

I'm going back to my scratch pad. You check it out Cody

Ally: You figure out what it is yet little brother?
Cody: No, but I definately smell catnip!

Hmmm, maybe it's something to eat?

What's this?? Hey Cody, I think I found the real toy!

It even has a hole to put your head in!

Silly kitties! They still haven't figured it out!

    Love the last line.

First looking at the pictures. I have the exact same toys for my kids. Both the brush and that Cat gym in the background.

I think that Bob had the same reaction to the Box. Gee, what this nice thing you bought for me, Hmmmm....Hey, look a box!!

I think once they get used to it that they will love it. Both of mine do. In fact, one of the favored sitting spot is by the brush. I think it help with the grooming too. They use it mostly for there face, but every little bit helps.

If you want to really entice them use some spray cat nip on the brush part. Bob really got into it after that.

    Great pictures and comentary. Thanks.

I thought: What cat hair magnet can there be if not a black jacket???

Looks like the cats also prefer the traditional ones like dark blankets, velvety sweaters etc.

I was going to ask 'does it work?' but I guess we won't know until they get sick of playing with the box!!!

They still won't use it. I'm going to try CatDad's suggestion and spray catnip on it.

    Cute pics!

I've seen that thing in stores but figured my cats would just stare at it. Ripley loves to be brushed and would probably use it but I would have to "encourage" him with some catnip and a little shove.
