    269 animals rescued from house!

    Unbelievable!

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/l...re/3118510.stm

I saw some of the dogs on the news, mostly the shi-tu`s, they had a close haircut but looked fine, and oh, so sweet.

    Chris,

WOW!!! It's amazing that they're all okay. They had a raid on a house in Detroit because the neighbors complained about the smell. 249 cats later (all had to be euthanized because they were either sick, or very feral).

I hate seeing stories like that. But it's all over.

I didn't read this link but assume it's the same as PJ's Mom posted earlier today in Pet General. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbit...

    OMG

244 dogs in a three room home!!!!!!!! I have 8 dogs and with just them all in the house, I can barely walk. Then adding in the 16 parrots, 7 cats, a rabbit and a chinchilla, all in the house. These people are sick and insane. I love to hear the reason for this, just to see how their minds think.

I hope this people get ever thing the law can throw at them and then some.

Those poor dogs, you know how hard it's going to be to place all of them in a new home. I say chances are that a lot wont get placed.

This is so sad but I'm glad to hear that all of the animals are going to be okay. I sure hope that these people are never ever allowed to own any kind of animals ever again.

WOW, I was amazed at just the 244 dogs part in a 3 bedroom. That would be tight. I hope all these animals get all the medical attention they need and find good homes!
