    Strange Behavior

We’ve been having a few cats start hanging around outside our house, a couple that are definitely feral, and one that lives next door. One is a tuxie, one is black & white, and the one next door is an orange tabby. The strangest thing is Gabby goes berserk when she sees the orange tabby. She doesn’t do this with the other ones, just the little orange guy. She makes a wailing sound and will run from window to window watching him. Why would she only act this way with him? Wouldn’t you think she would do this with any strange cat hanging around?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

If I remember correctly, wasn't Gabby found by you with a collar on? Maybe, just maybe this was her old house-mate??

    Just a thought...........
