I know a horse named moose, who LOVES getting his pic taken! my grandma took kout her camera while I was riding, and moose has his head in the camera in no time! he likes to look at himself in the mirror too! whenever we passed the mirror she just HAD to stop and admire himself! lol

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.
Zippy, there were 4 girls in the class and they each got a medal and trophy for participating.
If you look at the last photo you can see the medal with a blue ribbon hung on the horn of the saddle.

EssTer, my friend rode the horse in the Western style of class which has a horn on the saddle and heavier stirrups.
If you look at the horse with the purple leg wraps you can see she has an english saddle with lighter stirrups that can be used for jumping classes too.
I don't know if there were any dressage classes at this horse show. Do you ride english or western style in Iceland?

I also have some more photos of Sunny and his friends that I posted in General.

Vermont cat - In Iceland are just icelandic horses, and they aren´t big, about 140cm .. and in Iceland is i icelandic riding style - they have other kind of saddles , they don´t jump , they have tölt and flying pace....

But when I lived in other contry i rode by german riding style, it´s like english, just some litle differences I have jumped too

As usual, beautiful photos, Vermontcat!! I must get myself down to the Shire farm down the road from me! They just built the most stunning barn (the fellow came down from Vermont to build it!) and she always invites the neighbors over when the foals are about to be born! The adults are SO huge!!
