Grr! My computer crashed! (kind of)

I use MSN and last night a hacker hacked Bill Gates or something like that and I have an XP computer and that is the kind that got hacked (I think...I only heard this from my parents) and I the computer wouldn't do anything, then a screen appeared and said "complete system shutdown" and that scared me so much!

I didn't know what I'd do without PT, lol, but my dad rebooted it and voila.

So...just warning you, our computer is a bit iffy now, so if I'm not on for a while, you know why.

Umm - that'd be the W32.Blaster.Worm virus you caught.

It's been spreading the 'net like wildfire - we got hammered here at work.

Keep in mind this virus is not spreading via email -- it is sneaking in through TCP Ports 4444 and 135, and UDP port 69

I had trouble yesterday too, as did my brother in law, and he called my husband for help.
My husband called one of his friends at Best Buy, and they are fixing it for $30, or they have a disk you can get to do it on your own.

I would get it fixed right away, supposedly it's not even supposed to be in full effect until August 16, and supposed to last until December.
