    Pixel's Emergency Trip to the Vet!

    My poor little darling!

    She's had a tummy bug for the last week or so, she's had runny poopies and has been farting like a truckie. Yesterday, I felt ill so went home early from work. I went to feed Pixie, and noticed that there was poop all over the laundry! She'd obviously been in distress. I let her back into the laundry, and she started running around in further distress, meowing and making more mess!

    I put her in her litter tray, and she did her thang, but it was horribly runny. She stopped for about three minutes, just sitting there. Then, she meowed loudly and BLOOD came out!

    That was when I decided that an Emergency vet visit was in order!

    I took her to the White Coats where they gave her antibiotics by injection and they gave us liquid goo that she has to have twice a day. I gave her a dose this morning and she was NOT pleased as she cannot spit it out like she could a tablet.

    I hope my kitty gets better soon!

    Mum to two little humans, a very vocal 14 year old Ragdoll, and a super energetic and snuggly rescue kitten.

    Oh poor Pixel!!! I'm so sorry you are not feeling well. Please be good and let your Meowmie give you the meds. Soon it will be over and you'll be your old self again. Sending prayers for a speedy recovery. Please give Pixel kissies from me.

    Poor Pixel -it sounds like a bad bug but they seem to have the substances to kill the bug. You'll be fine soon -be a good kid and take your meds

    The White Coat lady says that she has a bacterial stomach bug. It's not serious, but I know that she feels yucky - she hides it, but I know that she's not well.

    She is a bit better today - no piles of poop in the laundry today, except in the litter tray. She still has the runs, but it seems to be getting a little better.

    She's in good spirits - she tried to nick the food off my bowl whilst I was staring right at her! Still up to her old tricks!

    She's been getting plenty of kisses and cuddles, but because she's not acting like herself, she's been a bit distant

    Mum to two little humans, a very vocal 14 year old Ragdoll, and a super energetic and snuggly rescue kitten.
