    SINDRI m Norse Mythology, Icelandic
Possibly means either "small, trivial" or else "sparkling" in Old Norse. In Norse legend this was the name of a dwarf who, with his brother Brokk, made many magical items for the gods.

    ACHAN m Biblical
Possibly a variation of the Hebrew word achar meaning "trouble".

    ALVIN m English
    Pronounced: AL-vin
Means "elf friend" from the Old English name Ælfwine, which was formed of the elements ælf "elf" and wine "friend".

THEOPHILUS m Biblical, Ancient Greek (Latinized)
    Pronounced: thee-AWF-i-lus
Means "friend of god", derived from Greek theos "god" and philos "friend" (just thought it was cute cuz I like Theo for short lol)

RUFUS m Ancient Roman, English, Biblical
    Pronounced: ROO-fus
Roman cognomen which meant "red-haired" in Latin.

    SAMSON m Biblical, English
    Pronounced: SAM-sun
From the Hebrew name Shimshon which probably meant "sun".

    YOKO f Japanese
    Means "sun child" in Japanese.

Good luck! Can't wait to see pics of the new hammy!

Congrats on the new addition! Names? hmmm. something cute;but not sickening-made up names are great-combine two things you like or two people or a saying- one Russian blue cat was called Killmouseky. Caramel colored? Cafe au lait;Latte; or maybe something historic-a play on words-Hamster-Hamstead Heath or Lionel Hamster(Hampton) -think I need a nap!! congrats again!!

neko is a great name, I am assuming it is a male Syrian hamster. Hope you did research befor getting this pet. hamsters may seem little and it may not look as if they need much care, but they do.

Dont play with it for a couple days and give it tons of treats, Let it take them from your hand. you should join a forum I commonly use, called www.hamsterific.com I hope you see you their sometime.
