    Cool Doggie Biscuit Cookbook

I ordered a dog biscuit cookbook for a couple of reasons. With 11 dogs, I thought it might save some money to make our own and I will also know exactly what's in them.

If anyone is interested in it it's called "Bone Appetit" the address is: California Media P.O Box 8245 Emeryville, CA 94662, the phone number is: 1-800-550-BOOK, the fax number is: 1-510-601-6938
the email is: [email protected] the website is www.californiamedia.com

There are 42 recipes 6 of which are desserts
50% of the profits go to animal shelters in need.
It is assembled by ARC (Assoc.of Retarded People)
Each facing page has a dog quote and trivia
There is a fat anc calorie chart included
There are important phone numbers included.

I can't wait to try them. I think I'm going to bake up a bunch for our dogs and then bake a bunch for the SPCA.

Well, usually school gets in my way too, but with this stupid broken leg, I have LOTS of time. My sub is hoping I come back to school soon...she doesn't like my classes!! lol

By the way the recipes in this book are way cool...I read the recipes to my husband and he said HE'D eat some of them. Apple and Cinnamon is one of the favorites.

Our SPCA seems to have gone through a big turn around since I broke my leg...which is good...but some of my old favorites are still there. And they are ALWAYS in need of treats and since I'm so broke, I thought that making the biscuits would be a good idea. I'll let you know what the poochies think...I think I will try them out on my 11 (12 and possibly 13 until we can find them good homes.)

Thanks! I'm going to attempt to make some treats for the dogs at the shelter in my hometown also. Like I said before however, I'm a terrible cook so wish me luck.

oh Jenn, you'll be fine. I haven't attempted it yet, too much stuff to grade and get into the computer. Let me know how it goes.
